Locations Needed For Trailer

• Tooting Bec Park this will be used for the woods scene where Elizabeth will be.
• Graveyard – this will help reinforce death and horror.

• Group members house (Mariam)

• Group members house (Jasmine) we may use this setting to be the bedroom where the character Elizabeth worships her mother (shrine to be created)

• Group members house (sufia) we will need sufias bath tub for a scene

We will also need a shed, this will also be as Sufias house, another gropu member of mine.

Props Needed For Trailer

Now that me and my group have come up with a final storyline for our trailer we have dis Candles preferably white.

A mothers picture- This is needed as the young girl is worshiping her late mother’s picture

Fake Blood- This will be needed as in one our out scenes it shoes someone slitting their wrists.

Make up- This will be need for the cast who will be acting as Elizabeth

Synopsis

A reserved quite, and religious young girl is traumatised by her family life as she grows up without a mother and an invalid father, Elizabeth has never had friends and tends to spend most of her time praying in front of her late mother’s photograph. Until on night she receives a mysterious phone call. Evil, destruction, murder and rage falls upon Elizabeth’s life as a turn of events causes the biggest tragedy of the century.

Key Horror Conventions

Within the horror genre there are many conventions which help create and make horror visible. I have included a few key conventions which need to be used to present horror.

Mis-en-scene Isolated settings, or domestic settings often at night time, dark atmosphere, lighting and use of shadows.

Camera Work and Editing Fast cutting shots, hand help shots, crosscutting and faster cuts to help create a panic feeling and on edge.

Characters Hedonistic teenagers, innocent girl, final girl and a psychologically damaged person.

Icons blood, gore, knives, mask and shadows

Music and Sound heartbeat, scream, loud bangs, heartbeat and psycho strings

Narratives based on either issues or themes which may be emerging
Good triumph over evil, unexplained events, supernatural haunting or battles between good and evil.
